The court will remain closed for the Navaratri from Thursday to October 6. If the court does not adjudicate on the case on Wednesday, the bars can remain functional till the court hears their plea, Manorama Online reported.In the plea submitted by the bar owners, it was contended that the government had not considered the recommendations of the M. Ramachandran Commission that was set up to find out ways to reduce the consumption of liquour in the state. However, the petition by the owners of 418 bars that were shut will be heard by the court on Wednesday.
