Donate Organs says IIM-K on Onam

The News Minute| September 8, 2014| 9.00 pm ISTOnam, Kerala’s rice harvest festival was celebrated in the Indian Institute of Management – Kozhikode by spreading the message of organ donation. The students took out a procession in the Kochi campus in the Infopark to spread the message of ‘love for humanity through organ donations,’ its press release said. The students displayed slogans and messages on organ donation. The event was inaugurated by Infopark CEO Hrishikesh Nair. Celebrities like Vijay Babu and Arun Vaidyanathan were also present.   The drive was supported by the Indian Women Network (IWN) the women's wing of Confederation of Indian Industry and Calpine group, among others, India Today reported.
