A fine of Rs. 2,000 was also imposed on him.Jayarajan had, in 2010, called a Judge of the High Court of Kerala an idiot while addressing the public in Kannur. He was sentenced to a six-month term in jail in 2011 by the High Court of Kerala for contempt of court.
