Achutanandan dares Chandy to file defamation against Saritha Nair

Opposition leader VS Achuthanandan has dared Kerala Chief Minister Oommen Chandy to file a case against Saritha Nair.

Achuthanandan’s comment comes in lieu of the defamation suit that CM Chandy fielded against him on April, 28.

Chandy had filed the defamation case against Achuthanandan after the CPI (M) leader had claimed that there were 136 cases before various courts against 18 cabinet ministers and 31 against the CM himself.

“Why Chandy, who filed a defamation case against me, does not dare to file a similar case against the solar scam accused Saritha Nair,” Achuthanandan is believed to have said.

Saritha Nair, the prime accused in the solar scam that shook the Chandy government, had levelled several serious allegations against Chandy, including that of sexual harassment and had even sought a CBI probe into her charges.
