Two security guards killed in B'luru construction site, suspect absconding

Two security guards were killed at a construction site in a gruesome murder in Hulimavu in Bengaluru on Wednesday morning. According to police officials at Hulimavu Police Station, the incident took place between 6 and 7 am on Wednesday. The victims were identified as Bikram Bohra (26) and Syedullah (25) from Assam, and the duo were security guards at City Villa apartment in the area. The residential apartment is under construction.

"An unidentified man attacked the security guards with an iron rod. An FIR has been lodged and we are investigating the case," said Ramesh, the investigating officer. 

Ajith Brahma, another guard who joined the team on Tuesday morning had been assigned the night shift along with the victims. He is currently absconding. He had asked for work at the construction site and was posted along with the victims on Tuesday night. His salary was to be determined at a later stage. 

"The victims were hit with an iron rod which was found on the spot and the third guard Ajith is missing. His phone is switched off and we are trying to find him," the investigating officer added. 

The bodies of the victims were found by a woman labourer who came to the site at around 7 am to sign the attendance register. 

The motive of the murders is yet to be ascertained by the police but Ajith is currently the main suspect in the crime. An FIR has been registered and the police is investigating the case.
