Three jawans allegedly get drunk in Lalbagh, manhandle security guard

The News Minute | August 25, 2014 | 10:55 am ISTThree jawans, of the Army Service Corps, on Sunday allegedly got drunk and created commotion while on a trip to Lalbagh with their families, and also manhandled the guard who questioned them, states a report by The New Indian Express. The police was later called to bring the situation under control. However, no case has been filed against the jawans since they apologised. This is said to be the second incident this year involving the force. In January, six BSF personnel consumed alcohol and, misbehaved with and also assaulted some people  in Lalbagh. Five of them were later arrested, adds the report.
