RGUHS to set up separate restroom for transgender students

The News Minute | February 17, 2015 | 09:07 am IST Rajiv Gandhi University of Health Sciences (RGUHS) will be setting up separate restroom for transgender students in all its affiliated colleges in a bid to create transgender-friendly infrastructure in colleges and university campuses, states a report by Bangalore Mirror. RGUHA has issued a circular to all its affiliated colleges to set up separate restroom for transgender students. "We will make sure a healthy and friendly environment is provided to existing students and also for students joining in the coming days", Dr K S Ravindranath, Vice-Chancellor of RGUHS told BM.
