Regional censor board gives no certificate for film on homosexuality

The News Minute | August 22, 2014 | 3.44 pm ISTA Kannada film on homosexuality titled 141 I Love You has reportedly been rejected by the censor board, a Kannada daily reported.According to Kannada Prabha, the regional censor board on Thursday rejected the film outright, without giving it any certificate. The report quoted the head of the regional board M Nagendra Swamy as saying that the board could not give any certificate to the film other than an ‘A’ certificate.It is unclear if the censor board’s decision was affected by the arrest of the CEO of the Central Board of Film Certification.
