Nine-year-old allegedly raped, set ablaze by neighbour in Bengaluru

The News Minute | February 21, 2015 | 09:50 am IST A 9-year-old girl in Bengaluru was allegedly raped and then set ablaze by her neighbour at her house, states a report by The New Indian Express.  The alleged incident took place on Tuesday in the victim's house in K P Agrahara near Magadi Road. The 26-year-old accused Anthony Lawrence, who is an auto-driver, was on Thursday arrested by KP Agrahara police. The report states that according to the police, Lawrence went to the victim's house when she was alone, in pretext of repairing a television and then allegedly raped and set her on fire.
