Man uses new type of plough: a motorbike

The News Minute | July 14, 2014 | 1.12 pm ISTA man in Belgaum district has become famous in his village and attracts visitors when he starts his work for the day.Laxman Maruti Muchandi, a farmer in Yallur village near Belgaum, has found a novel and cost-effective way to plough his field. He uses his bike, according to The New Indian Express. Muchandi grows paddy on his 4.5 acre plot and spends Rs. 1,500 per acre on fuel to plough the land, the report states. Curious neighbours begna to turn up on his land to watch him work as news of his novel method spread.
