Man throws acid on his sleeping wife, two minor daughters

The News Minute | February 7, 2015 | 9.37 pm ISTA man poured acid on his wife and two minor daughters when they were asleep in their house in Tumakuru district on Saturday.Ranganath (37) allegedly threw acid on his wife Lakshmamma (30) and daughters Meghana (10) and Latha (5). The couple’s third daughter Ramya (7) escaped unhurt as she was sleeping in another room. Police have said that the couple quarreled as Ranagnath suspected Lakshmamma’s fidelity and the latter had been staying with her sister in Thimmahallipalya Navagrama near Yellapura. Ranganath entered the house at around 4 am on Saturday and threw acid on the faces of his wife and daughters. After being treated at the government hospital in Tumakuru, they were shifted to Victoria Hospital in Bengaluru.  Police have arrested the accused. Tweet
