Karnataka wants to do a Tamil Nadu, plans own Cable TV network

State information minister Roshan Baig says a meeting will be held on August 28 to discuss the proposal. The government thinks it is time to intervene as private networks are fleecing people, says Baig.The state IT department will study the feasibility of such a project and there will be discussions with stakeholders.
