Karnataka PU department might be mulling over conducting a re-exam for all other papers as investigation carried out by Criminal Investigation Department has revealed that all II PU science and language papers were leaked.

The investigation revealed that a group of lecturers, businessmen and junior bureaucrats leaked the papers for quick money, reported Bangalore Mirror.

BM reported that question papers of physics, mathematics, biology, computer science, electronics, and the language papers of Kannada, English, Hindi and Sanskrit had been leaked.

The investigating officers have also said that Shivakumar who is absconding, is the prime player involved in the racket as per information received from another accused who was arrested on Wednesday.

CID on Wednesday arrested Muralidhar KM, a mathematics lecturer, who runs the A3 Tutorials. He had reportedly solved the PU II mathematics question paper for Shivakumar and sold it to agents, parents and students, reported BM.

The department had also arrested two other accused in connection with the Chemistry question paper leak, KS Ranganath, a junior engineer, PWD office at KR Circle, and Anil Kumar B, a real estate business.

Ranganath is alleged to have illegally procured the question paper from the other accused persons Rudrappa (also a PWD engineer) and Kumaraswamy alias Kiran (Shivakumar's nephew), who have already been arrested earlier, reported BM.

Anil and his wife allegedly bought the Chemistry paper from Shivakumar and Physics question paper from his son's lecturer Nagendra from Mysuru.

A senior police official said that Shivakumar allegedly offered packages of the leaked question papers and supplied the students with answers a day before the exam. He allegedly charged Rs 50,000 per subject per head.
