I don't aspire to be BJP state president: Yeddyurappa

The News Minute| June 23, 2014|9.25 am ISTHe was not made a Union Minister, but Karnataka BJP leader B S Yeddyurappa has always maintained that his main focus is to develop the party in the state. His letter to PM Modi in May declaring that he was ready to revive the party in Karnataka had lead to speculation that he was eyeing the post of State BJP president.But when asked about it, the former chief minister B S Yeddyurappa on Sunday said in Mysore that he has no aspirations to become the state BJP president.He said he will focus on strengthening the BJP in all districts of the state as per the desire of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.
