Chief Minister Siddaramaiah offers flowers to goddess without taking off his footwear

The News Minute | October 4, 2014 | 7.40 pm ISTChief Minister Siddaramaiah on Saturday wore his footwear to a puja that was part of the Dasara celebrations.Siddaramaiah offered flowers to goddess Chamundi without taking off his footwear while inaugurating the Jambu Savari. Other ministers who were with him had taken off their footwear. He can be seen going up the stairs to the raised platform in his footwear while the others who were with him had taken them off before climbing up.The puja was also reportedly performed after the auspicious time had passed.
