4-year-old allegedly sexually assaulted by neighbour in Bengaluru

The News Minute | November 10, 2014 | 08:45 am IST A 4-year-old girl was allegedly sexually assaulted by her 21-year-old neighbour in Venkatapura under the Madiwala police station limits, states a report by Bangalore Mirror. The incident is said to have taken place on Wednesday and the police have arrested the accused, who has been identified as Gajendra. A painter by profession, the accused lived opposite the victim's house, and was a regular at her home. The victims' parents work in private firms and both were not home when the alleged incident occurred. The accused is said to have taken the girl to his home. On Saturday, the victim complained of pain while urinating and later narrated to her mother about the incident, following which her parents lodged a complaint with the police.
