When Prabhudeva left audiences in awe at a Kochi mall

Written by : TNM

Actor-producer Prabhudeva was in Kochi over the weekend as part of the promotional tour of forthcoming horror-comedy, Devi, which also releases in Telugu as Abhinetri and in Hindi as Tutak Tutak Tutiya on Friday.

A special event was organized by the film’s Kerala distributor Global United Media, and Prabhudeva along with the film’s director Vijay visited Central Square mall, Kochi, where he left audiences in awe with his impromptu jig.

On special request, Prabhu danced to the hit number Chalmaar from Devi and the title track Tutak Tutak Tutiya from the film’s Hindi version, much to the excitement of nearly 1000 people who had gathered to get a glimpse of the Indian Micahel Jackson.

Before Prabhu took to the stage, two dance troupes had engaged audiences and there were also special performances by a one-legged girl, 85-year old actress Subbulakshmi and a 6-year old boy. Popular Malayalam actor Kunchako Boban, one of the best dancers, was present at the event to honour Prabhu’s visit to Kerala.

It’s after a decade Prabhudeva has returned to Tamil filmdom in an actor’s role with Devi, which also stars Tamannaah Bhatia and Sonu Sood.
