Watch: Motion poster of Mammootty’s ‘MaduraRaja’ is out

The first look of Mammootty’s MaduraRaja was released sometime ago. Recently, the motion poster of the film was also released online and is going viral. Mammootty looks energetic and his style in the film is something to watch out for. 

Touted to be an action entertainer, the film is directed by Vysakh and bankrolled by Nelson Ipe under his banner on a big budget. The script is written by Vysakh in association with Uday Krishna.

MaduraRaja is a sequel to the hit 2010 film Pokkiri Raja which was directed was Vysakh and starred Mammootty and Prithviraj in the lead. The latter will be seen in a cameo role in the sequel with Sunny Leone roped in for a dance sequence. Tamil actor Jai will be seen in an prominent role in Madura Raja. Other actors include Siddique, Aju Varghese, Anna Rajan, Anusree, Nedumudi Venu, Vijayaraghavan, Salim Kumar, Dharmajan Bolgatty, Bala, Bijukuttan and Manikuttan.

 The technical crew of the film includes Gopi Sunder for music, Shaji Kumar for cinematography and John Kutty for editing. The stunt sequences are choreographed by Peter Hein.

The first schedule of MaduraRaja has been wrapped up successfully and the second schedule is currently on. The team will be wrapping up the entire shooting with the third schedule after which the post production will begin. The film will be a Vishu release.

Mammootty has had a good year so far with Tamil films Peranbu and Yathra fetching him very good reviews. Both the films are also reportedly doing well at the box office.

In Malayalam, the actor will also be seen in Ganagandharvan, a film directed by comedian-turned-filmmaker Ramesh Pisharody. He will also be working with director Ranjith in which he is playing the world's richest Keralite, and with actor-filmmaker Nadirshah for a film titled I am a Disco Dancer
