Nithiin and director Hanu Raghavapudi are gearing up to start work on their new project, which was launched recently and is slated to go on the floors next month.

With the pre-production work already underway, the makers are busy finalizing the rest of the cast and crew including the female lead. According to sources, Shruti Haasan has been approached and although she is yet to sign on the dotted line, she’s most likely to accept the offer.

“Shruti has been approached and she’s quite excited about the offer. Apart from the interesting script, she’s keen on working with Nithiin as they haven’t worked together before. However, she’s still figuring out dates as she’s also busy with Pawan Kalyan’s Katamarayuda and can’t afford to have the dates of this project clash with the other,” a source said.

The makers are planning to wait for two more weeks before trying out other options. They have two more heroines under consideration but they will be approached, only if Shruti turns down the offer.
