Nizam area distribution rights for Baahubali 2 sold?

Sunil Narang of Asian Films has snapped the Nizam area distribution rights of the upcoming historic war epic ‘Baahubali: The Conclusion' which is slated to hit the screens on April 28, 2017.  

According to the reports, Sunil Narang and Narayan Das Narang have acquired the rights in the range of Rs 46 to Rs 50 crores which is only for Telugu version.

Earlier, speculation was rife that producer Suresh Babu had bagged the Nizam rights for a whopping Rs 50 crore, but it turned out to be incorrect.  
The first movie in the series ‘Baahubali: The Beginning’ collected nearly Rs 43 crore in the Nizam area and the distributors are confident that the sequel will earn more than Rs 60 crore.

Recently, the Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam overseas rights were sold to K-Entertainments for Rs  95 crore.

Meanwhile, the first look poster of Baahubali 2, will be released on the October 22, on the occasion of Prabhas' birthday.

The audio will be launched at a grand event in February next year, with the release to follow in April.
