New app for children teaches emergency and disaster preparedness

Monster Guard, as the game is called, makes learning about first aid and making survival kits fun for children. The app lets children play as monsters that are learning how to fight and prepare for natural disasters like earthquakes, forest fires, floods etc. The app is necessary to inform children not to panic and to work quickly in emergency situations. It acts as a much needed guide as most adults themselves are clueless as to how to prepare for such emergencies and what to do when a disaster strikes. Such an app should be made available worldwide. In countries such as India, where the government is hardly prepared for natural calamities, it is upon the citizens to ready themselves.
