Director Ram Gopal Varma and Nagarjuna teamed up for the movie Shiva way back in 1989, which turned out to be a massive hit. Incidentally, this film was remade in Hindi under the same title and it marked Nagarjuna’s debut in Bollywood.

Later, they worked together in Antham which released in 1992. Now, after 25 long years, the veteran director and the star will be teaming up for a film.

According to reports doing rounds in the tinsel town, we hear that Nagarjuna is highly impressed with the storyline that Ram Gopal Varma had narrated to him and has decided to give his go-ahead for the project.

The pre-production of this film has reached the last leg and the shooting is expected to commence on November 20. Touted to be an action thriller, the film will be wrapped quickly considering the work pattern of the director.

With RGV busy with the pre-production, he is expected to divulge the details about the star cast and crew in a few days.

It may be mentioned here that Nagarjuna’s last release Raju Gari Gadhi – 2 received a positive response and he is looking forward to moving over to his next project soon.

On the other hand, Ram Gopal Varma had announced that he would be directing the biopic on the late chief minister of Andhra Pradesh and actor NT Rama Rao and ran into controversy for stating that it would be from his second wife Lakshmi Parvathi’s viewpoint.

However, the widow of NTR later claimed that the biopic would not go on to the floors without her consent, which stalled its progress.

RGV and Nagarjuna’s new project together has the movie buffs elated as they expect a high profile action entertainer.
