Director Mahi V Raghav’s note on working with the legend Mammootty in Yatra is proof enough how he enjoyed working with the star. There were rumours of Mammootty not wanting any other stars in the project and Mahi V Raghav had to make a lot of compromises to accommodate him. However, all these will remain as rumours as the director has penned a long note stating how much he and his team enjoyed working with the star.

His note reads:

Mammootty joined the sets of Yatra several weeks ago and had completed shooting for his portions. In this biopic on the late chief minister of Andhra Pradesh, YS Rajasekar Reddy, Mammootty plays the legendary leader who died in an air crash.
