The News Minute| August 10, 2014| First the Lion King Broadway team surprised the crew and passengers of an airplane this April as they broke into an impromptu performance. Now, it was New York Subway’s turn to get treated to a flash performance by the Broadway team. Dressed in regular clothes, the cast were on the subway reading books and wearing headphones when one of them started rendering the Circle of Life, a song that featured in the first edition of the Lion King movie.
