Gautham Menon ropes in Vikram for spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram

Written by : TNM Staff

The much-anticipated spy thriller Dhruva Natchathiram, which Gautham Menon had originally planned to be made with Suriya, has been revived and it will star Chiyaan Vikram.

As the filmmakers are planning to make an official announcement in a week’s time, we’ve exclusively learnt that the project will be made on an international scale along the lines of the popular Bourne franchise and will be predominantly shot in the US.

Although Vikram is yet to officially sign on the dotted line, it is believed that he has given his consent in principle.

Interestingly, Gautham plans to rope in a popular Bollywood star for a crucial role and apparently talks have been initiated with a few senior actors. The project will only go on the floors after Vikram wraps up his next film with director Vijay Chander, and it should happen around March next year.

Meanwhile, Gautham will assemble the team and is likely to finalize the shooting locations as the project will require extensive travelling.

Buoyed by the success of Achcham Yenbathu Madamaiyada, Gautham is simultaneously finalizing the lead cast for the Tamil remake of Pellichoopulu. He is also planning a multi-starrer film with Nivin Pauly, apart from another Tamil project with Naga Chaitanya.
