Fahadh Faasil files police complaint

Written by : TNM

In the recent past, there have been several instances of imposters operating fake profiles of film stars. While some choose to ignore it, others immediately file a police complaint to ensure that the account is deactivated. It may be mentioned here that actors like Kavya Madhavan have filed a complaint with the police and have had the culprits arrested.

Generally, film stars choose social networking sites to connect with their fans and it is really sad that imposters try to feed false information to fans. One of the most recent victims happens to Malayalam film star Fahadh Faasil. The star recently came across a fake profile of his on Facebook and immediately lodged a police complaint in Alappuzha. Taken aback by the way in which the imposter has been posting messages, the star swung into action.

The infamous Suchi Leaks controversy, which was allegedly the handiwork of a hacker who posted obscene videos supposedly of film stars from the singer's Twitter handle, is still fresh in the minds of netizens. Finally, Suchitra lodged a police complaint and her account was deactivated. However, no arrests were made.

Fahadh Faasil is currently busy with a number of projects including Role Models which is in the post production mode. His other projects include Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum, Aannengilum Alenkilum, and Carbon. While the shooting of Thondimuthalum Driksakshiyum is currently in progress, the other two films are in the post production mode.

Apart from Malayalam films, Fahadh also has a couple of Tamil films in his kitty – Velaikaran and Aneethi Kathaigal. He is shooting for Velaikaran right now. The film has Siva Karthikeyan, Nayanthara and Sneha sharing screen space with him.
