Devi (L) release date postponed

Director A.L Vijay's upcoming trilingual film Devi (L), starring Prabhudeva, Tamannaah Bhatia and Sonu Sood which was slated to release on September 9, will now release on October 7.

According to sources from the film’s camp, makers initially planned to release the movie on September 9. But, currently the film is in its last leg of post-production and due to the delay in the completion of the post production works, the release has been pushed back now. It is also said that the makers are eyeing a five-day holiday weekend.

The horror flick will see Tamannaah in the role of an actress as well as a ghost. It will also feature British model and actress Amy Jackson in a special cameo for a song. The project which is tipped to be made on a budget of Rs 70 crores, is produced by Prabhudeva, Kona Venkat and M.V.V Satyanarayana.

The music is jointly scored by Thaman and GV Prakash.
