If you’re a Suriya fan, the last few weeks must have been very disappointing, especially after the film’s release was deferred twice. Originally planned to release on December 16, the makers had initially pushed it by a week to December 23 but failed to stick to it for reasons unknown. After much speculation about the reason for postponement including the team’s plea for the revisal of U/A certificate from CBFC, the makers finally confirmed on Wednesday that the film will hit the screens on January 26.

Directed by Hari, the original creator of the Singam franchise, it is believed that "S3" has a lot more to offer to general audience as Suriya assured in his recent media interactions. It also promises a lot more action and emotional drama to appeal to the loyal fans of the franchise. Also starring Anushka Shetty and Shruti Haasan, this part takes the story to an international level and has been shot across places such as Vishakhapatnam, Chennai and Malaysia among others.

The film introduces popular Hindi television actor Anoop Thakur Singh as the antagonist and his climax face-off with Suriya is said to be one of the major highlights of the film.
