Even weeks after the high profile wedding of NRI businessman Ravi Pillai's daughter Dr. Arathi to Dr. Adithya Vishnu, people could not stop talking about the grand preparations that went into the big fat wedding that took place on November 26. Many even started morally outraging against the kind of money that was splurged in to the wedding the others were in awe of the make-up and wardrobe of the bride, cultural performances and even the specially designed wedding hall.

But we had a different take on it, you can read it here.

Ravi Pillai spent over Rs 55 crore in his daughter’s wedding. The wedding hall was designed in the shape of a lotus by Art director of India’s blockbuster 'Bahubhali' Sabu Cyril, the highlight apart from the fact that the bride literally looked nothing less than a diamond mine.

Apart from the Manish Malhotra-designed saree, Renju Renjimar, a Mollywood celebrity makeup artist was also responsible for making the bride look a million dollars for all the seven functions.

They also had a ceremony at Tirupathi for which Arathi was dressed in traditional Kerala bridal look, complete with a kasavu sari, simple make-up, and a loose hairstyle tied together with jasmine.
