Student arrested in AP for Facebook post "celebrating" Hudhud

The News Minute | October 29, 2014 | 2:05 pm ISTA YSR Congress party activist has been arrested by the CID in Guntur for a Facebook post in which he said he "loved" Hudhud for punishing those who "did harm".The man, Changanti Rahul Reddy hails from Guntur district and is a law student at the Jagarlamudi Chandramouli College of law. Rahul had posted a comment which read “I love you Hudhud. Those who did harm have been bent by nature”. The CID claimed that Rahul posted “irresponsible and anti-people” comments on the social networking site and after further investigation said that he was a member of YSRCP's Guntur district student wing. The CID had acted on a complaint it had received on October 15 about “adverse comments” on Facebook about the cyclone. Samudrala Uday Kumar, a resident of Sainikpuri in Hyderabad has also been arrested and is in judicial custody on the same charges.
