The News Minute | November 15, 2014 | 12:35 pm ISTCricket legend and Rajya Sabha MP Sachin Tendulkar will visit his adopted village, Puttamraju Kandriga which is situated in the Nellore district on Sunday.Sachin plans to take part in a meeting in the presence of various dignitaries including Union Minister for Urban Development and Parlimentary Affairs, M. Venkaiah Naidu.The ex-cricketer also plans to interact with the villagers and overlook current development operations the village is undergoing.Sachin selected the village after he met PM Narendra Modi in Delhi last month and reportedly promised to adopt a village for providing all-round development under Sansad Gram Yojana.
