Naidu inspects work at Velagapudi, says he will move into new office on Dasara

Andhra Pradesh chief minister Chandrababu Naidu is all set to begin functioning from his new office in the temporary secretariat at Velagapudi on October 11, on the occasion of 'Vijayadasami'.

The Times of India reported:

While a majority of the ministers have already entered their chambers in the Interim Government Complex (IGC), the chief minister has finalised the muhurth for the inauguration of his chambers.He would perform a puja in the office on October 11 in the first block of IGC.

The report adds that Naidu went around the IGC for about 20 minutes on Thursday and reviewed the progress of the works with senior officials and ministers.

"I will come and sit in my office on Vijaya Dasami day, its up to you . If you don’t make my office ready by then, I will work from my bus… but I will come here on Dasara," The Hindu quotes Naidu as telling the additional director, CRDA, Mallikarjuna during a media conference.

The newspaper also quotes him as saying "We will be switching over to real time governance and online filing system aiming at qualitative and creative work. We have also created common infrastructure. I will be monitoring from the Command and Control Centre."
