Written by : TNM Staff

Based on intelligence survey reports, Chief Minister N. Chandrababu Naidu has given rankings to MLAs on their performance. This survey will be conducted every three months to improve performance of MLAs and ministers, the CM said.

Naidu warned ministers and MLAs not to reveal the rankings to the media, as they could have an impact on the Cabinet expansion.

Before this, during the party training classes, Naidu stressed on the importance of technology and its implementation and asked the members to change their attitude towards it.

He was disappointed that 70 per cent didn’t follow his instruction and asked MLAs and constituency in-charges who failed to bring their government-gifted iPads to the meeting whether they had been given the gadgets for their children to play.

Earlier, training classes lasting three days were imparted to TD leaders. The CM asked all the members to participate actively on all three days in computer labs, group discussions and power point presentations. He also directed the party members to adopt the latest technologies and make use of government-gifted iPads.

The classes lasted 28 hours, covering nine major issues with 40 presentations. The initiative was taken to make their work effective and efficient, so that it would ultimately lead to good governance.

According to The Deccan Chronicle, Naidu said, “People have high expectations from the ruling party. So we have to work hard collectively by coordinating with each other by making use of technology, or else people would not support them in the future.”
