With less than two weeks to go for the elections, AIADMK supremo J Jayalalithaa, on Thursday, released the party’s poll manifesto at a public rally at Perunthurai in Erode district.

Some of the key promises made in the manifesto include:

Waiver of all farm loans in the state.

Rs 40,000 crores of farm loans to be given between 2016 to 2021.

Steps to be taken to increase the height of the Mullaiperiyar Dam level to 152 feet.

Steps to be taken to include the fishermen community under the category of STs

Ban on Jallikattu to be lifted

100 units of free electricity to be provided for all households`

Maternity assistance to the tune of Rs 18000 to be provided to women

Guaranteed job to be provided for one person in each family

Free laptops and internet connections to be provided students of class 11 and class 12 in the state.

Subsidy of 50% to be provided on scooters purchased for women

100 units of free electricity to every household will be provided

Education loans to be waived off for unemployed graduates

Master health check-ups and women-centric health checkups to be provided in all districts

Lokayukta to be set up in the state

Ration card holders to get free cell phones

Ensure Karnataka won't build a dam across Cauvery

Link all the rivers flowing across TN

Athikadavu-Avinasi scheme to be implemented

New milk cooperative societies to be formed

BPL families to be provided 4 goats for free

Separate scheme for construction of houses for fishermen

Amma Banking Card to be provided for the poor

Rs 1 lakh to be provided for temples of local deities

One sovereign of gold to be provided for women ahead of marriage
