Bharat Rashtra Samithi (BRS) working president KT Rama Rao has alleged that a company owned by Chief Minister A Revanth Reddy’s brother, Anumula Kondal Reddy, received undue favours from the Congress-led state government.
KTR alleged that Tesseract Advanced Systems, an aerospace component manufacturing company, was granted five acres of land in Raviryal village of Rangareddy district by the state government for Rs 7 crore, claiming that its actual valuation would be around Rs 200 crore.
Addressing the media on August 11, KTR also shared a document purported to be Tesseract’s second annual report for 2024-25, which said that as of March 31, 2025, the company had zero employees. The report also said that at the time, the company had a total share capital of only Rs 1 lakh. It also showed foreign exchange earnings of Rs 1.06 crore in 2024-25.
A day earlier, BRS leader Krishank had said that Tesseract’s registered address in Patancheru was a residential building with a name plate saying ‘Botta’s’. Naresh Botta is one of the listed directors of the company, along with Kandra Rasi and Chilumula Seshasai Reddy.
CM Revanth Reddy’s brother Anumula Kondal Reddy’s LinkedIn profile says he is the chairman of Tesseract. He has also attended various events and was recently included as a member of the Washington-based US-India Strategic Partnership Forum’s India Executive Leadership Board, with the same designation.
Krishank had also asked if the company, which claims to manufacture aerospace and defense machinery, had a manufacturing license from the Department for Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT).
KTR alleged that many relatives of CM Revanth, including his brothers, son-in-law, and brother-in-law allegedly enjoyed undue favours or influence under the present government, and were involved in corrupt activities.
Telangana Industries Minister D Sridhar Babu, meanwhile, denied any irregularities and claimed that the land allotment was done by officials following due process, without the involvement of the Chief Minister or the chairman of the company.
“BRS is making false claims about the land value and misleading people. The same land was sold for Rs 90 lakh (per acre) under the BRS government. Adjusting for inflation, it would cost around Rs 1.5 crore (per acre) now,” he said.
