Water has accumulated heavily under the bridge, partially submerging the road and making it difficult for vehicles to pass. Several autorickshaws and a Swiggy Instamart delivery vehicle are seen navigating through the water. Other people in raincoats, including municipal workers, are present on the side of the road.

The India Meteorological Centre, Hyderabad has predicted cloudy skies and light to moderate rain or thundershowers, accompanied with gusty winds (30-40 kmph), across the city for the next five days, from August 4 to 8.

The yellow warning forecast was issued to all six zones of Hyderabad–Charminar, Khairatabad, Secunderabad, Kukatpally, LB Nagar and Serlingampally.

The IMD warned of water pooling on roads and low lying areas in several locations, along with traffic congestion, wet and slippery roads, clogged drains, and disturbances in electricity, water etc. for a few hours.

Light to moderate rainfall is predicted over many parts of Telangana over the next four days, including districts such as Mahabubnagar, Nagarkurnool, Wanaparthy, Narayanpet and Jogulamba Gadwal.

Earlier in July, Chief Minister Revanth Reddy said that the state had recorded 21% deficit rainfall since June and that heavy rains would come as a relief.

He also asked all the other district authorities to be available round the clock during July-August, in view of the heavy rain forecast.

CM Revanth Reddy also reviewed the preparedness of the Medical and Health Department to prevent the spread of seasonal fevers like dengue, and other communicable diseases during the monsoon.
