BJP in Telangana tried to make the most out of the public feud between two factions of the TRS party in Hyderabad.
Krishna Saagar Rao, the designated spokesperson for the party on Saturday said, “BJP considers MLA Bajireddy slapping MLC Bhupathi Reddy has exposed TRS party's anarchy. If an MLC has to face this, imagine common people. BJP strongly feels the signs are clear, that TRS party has started imploding with many leaders from other parties with singular aim for power joining it. Internal tussle for one up-manship is a natural outcome. More such incidents will follow.”
This statement came just after it was reported that when a TRS MLA Bajireddy Govardhan slapped party MLC Dr R. Bhupati Reddy following an altercation between supporters of the two leaders over publicity material.
As reported by Deccan Chronicle, the supporters of the MLC were not pleased with the absence of his photographs on party’s flex boards which led to the fight.
However, the altercation did not escalate further with police defusing the situation promptly.
