
The News Minute | October 9, 2014 | 1.28 pm ISTA key witness has told the trial court in Mumbai that actor Salman Khan was driving the car which killed one person and left four people injured in 2002.According to reports, the witness was formerly a parking attendant at the J W Marriot Hotel in Mumbai, and identified Salman Khan as the driver of the Toyota Land Cruiser which ran over people sleeping on the footpath outside a bakery in Bandra on September 28, 2002. This is reportedly the first time someone has testified against him.Firstpost reported that the trial had resumed after the original statements of witnesses and case diaries which had disappeared turned up again and placed before the court. Khan is facing the charge of culpable homicide not amounting to murder which could land him in jail for 10 years if convicted.
