A US Senate candidate has claimed that the United States and Iraeli intelligence agency Mossad are together responsible for the Paris attacks on the office of magazine Charlie Hebdo.
According to a report in The Independent, US Senate candidate of the Green Party of LA County Council Jack Linblad has claimed that the attackers of the Paris violence were acting under orders from the US government and Mossad in order to keep Europe under “(Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin) Netanyahu’s thumb”.
Linblad’s comments are one of many conspiracy theories that have been heard in the wake of the attacks. A Russian newspaper also made similar remarks recently, according to The Independent.
