Here’s a quick pop quiz question. Which tennis superstar, considered one of the greatest ever, having amassed record number of wins, Grand Slams and titles and adored by millions of fans across the world, was in India recently? If your answer is Roger Federer, you are only half correct.
Oh yes! Tennis legend Steffi Graf stopped by and nobody seemed to have noticed.
The ITPL hurricane descended on India this past week, and almost everyone was blown away, all thanks to the star wattage of the ever charming Roger Federer and team. Deepika Padukone, Aamir Khan, Sunil Gavaskar and THE Amitabh Bachchan got a chance to hob nob with tennis’ brightest stars, giving the media enough things to write about for weeks to come atleast.
Posing in front of the Taj Mahal, Steffi Graf posted this update on her Facebook Page.

It's always been a wish of mine to visit India...and finally I'm here! Started my day at sunrise at the stunningly beautiful Taj Mahal, had a chance to watch the artists who inlay marble and see a bit of Agra . It's been an incredible visit so far - meeting the kind people of India, seeing the sights and enjoying some amazing food!
Many of her Indian fans commented, asking her to visit their cities to get a full taste of India. She also posted some candid images from her trip to Agra.
Known for her steely determination and a crushing work ethic, Graf started as a prodigy and lived up to hype like no other. She won all of them-22 Grand Slams titles on all the surfaces, Olympic gold medals, record number of weeks being No.1. And who could forget her Calendar year Golden Slam, when she won all the 4 grand Slams and the Olympic gold medal-all in one single year.
And then came her romance and subsequent marriage to tennis great, Andre Agassi. Since her retirement, Graf has been actively involved in charity work and one suspects this India trip should have something to do with her charity-“Children for tomorrow”.
Between Federer, Graf and Djokovic , India seems to be having a great tennis week.
A Grand-Slam-fantastic one to be exact.
