Modi was given the letter of invitation by US Deputy Secretary of State William Burns who is in New Delhi to hold talks with Home Minister Rajnath Singh.Burns and Singh are expected to chalk out a path for 'strategic dialogue' as well as the Modi-Obama meeting, The News Indian Express reported.The Prime Minister is reported to have said that he is hoping for a result-oriented meet in order to strengthen strategic partnership. William Burns, on behalf of President Obama, said that the United States of America looked forward to a great partnership with India.In an interview with NDTV, Burns described PM Modi as a 'very impressive man' and said that the visa denial controversy was behind them. The Prime Minister is now scheduled to travel to the US on 30th September, 2014.
