The News Minute| July 20, 2014| 9.00 am ISTFather of a man caught with drugs at the Kuala Lumpur airport is desperately trying to request the Ministry of External Affairs to intervene, as he believes his son became part of a drug racket in Delhi inadvertently.Sanjay Chauhan is on trial and his father Tikam Singh believes that he may have used as a drug carrier by a gang that had trapped other young people too, reports Hindustan Times. Chauhan was employed by a company last year who asked him to take a suitcase to Malaysia.The report quotes a senior Delhi police official that they have written Letters Rogatory (LR) to the Malaysian government. Hindustan Times has published two letters written by Chauhan to his father from jail.
