Keralites arrested in Saudi for sharing obscene clips of Saritha Nair
The News Minute | November 20, 2014 | 11.30 pm ISTFour Keralites have been arrested in Saudi for sharing obscene videos of solar scam prime accused Saritha S. Nair via WhatsApp. A Malayala Manorama Report says that the arrests were based on a complaint filed by a Saudi Arabian national, who received the videos from a Bangladeshi man. The police found out the source of the videos and arrested the Keralites.As per the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's law, possession or sharing of obscene videos is a serious crime and the accused found guilty can get up to 5 years imprisonment.A series of private video clippings of Saritha S Nair went viral on Whatsapp in October. The solar scam made headlines in Kerala last year after Saritha and her live-in partner Biju Radhakrishnan were arrested for deceiving many people who gave money to fix solar panels.
