Half-naked man crawls on all fours to steal wallets from cine goers

A police probe into theft of wallets belonging to women from a cinema theatre in Attingal in Thiruvananthapuram district of Kerala led to a CCTV footage which revealed bizarre antics of a half-naked thief. The CCTV footage from Ganga theatre in Attingal accessed by the police showed a man changing his seat, undressing himself and then crawling behind a row of seats on all fours to steal the wallets. He is seen returning to the seat after successfully accomplishing the theft.

A report in the Mathrubhumi said two women from Chirayinkeezhu had filed a complaint regarding their wallets from Ganga theatre while they watched a movie. Upon checking the CCTV footage, the police were able to identify the thief and were shocked to witness the way he stole the wallets.

Another visual showed the suspect entering the theatre with a bag. Once inside the theatre he would identify his targets before committing the theft. The CCTV visuals captured all his activities while the audience was sitting engrossed in the movie. Attingal police said the suspect is yet to be arrested and the search to nab him is on.
