Popular Malayalam actress Kalpana Ranjini’s funeral was held at 5.30 p.m. at the Tripunithura Muncipal Crematorium on Tuesday.
Mortal remains reached her final resting place by around 1p.m. at Tripunithura in Ernakulam.
Her body was kept in Layam Koothambalam Hall in Tripunithura from 2 p.m. onwards.
Later she was taken to her house at Thekkumbhagam in Tripunithura where she used to reside with her only daughter Sreemayi, a Plus-One student.
