The News Minute | August 27, 2014 | 3.19 pm ISTA woman as filed a complaint of sexual harassment against the seer of the Ramachandrapura Mutt Raghaveshwara Bharatiya Swami in Bangalore.The complaint has been filed by Anshumati Shastri against the seer, on behalf of her mother Premalatha Divakar, alleging that the seer had harassed and abused her mother, Kannada daily Kannada Prabha reported.Anshumati said in the complaint that the seer had gotten her mother arrested on charges of threatening him, because he learned that Premalatha had decided to file a complaint against him for sexually harassing her.On Wednesday, Premalatha and her husband Divakar Shastri were arrested by the Honnavar (Uttara Kannada district) police, in connected with a complaint lodged in Honnavar by one Chandrashekar on August 17. It was alleged in the complaint that someone had been making calls and threatening the artists who were to sing in the Ramakatha organised by the Mutt at its ashram in Kekkaru.So far, three artists had said that they received threatening calls and had lodged complaints in Sullia (Dakshina Kannada), and Honnavar.
