Power cuts in Bengaluru on Jan 10 and 11: Check areas

The Karnataka Power Transmission Corporation Limited (KPTCL) has announced power outages in Bengaluru due to emergency maintenance work on January 10 and 11. The Bangalore Electricity Supply Company (BESCOM) has provided details of the affected areas and timings:

On January 10, the power shutdown will be from 10 am to 3:30 pm. The outage will affect several residential and industrial areas. The areas include Ravindra Nagar, Prashanth Nagar, Santosh Nagar, Air Force Jalahalli West, Vaishnavi Nakashtra Apartments, KSRTC Bus Stand, Gati Road, Triveni, HHV, DMG, Krishna Fabrications, Gemini Industries, Ravi-Kirloskar Hospital, John Crane, Wipro Wellcast Factory, ITC, Volvo, Avery Dennison, Hitachi Industries, and Geetha Timber, among others.

On January 11, another power outage is scheduled from 10 am to 5 pm, covering prominent residential areas. Affected zones include Sri M Visvesvaraya Terminal Bengaluru Railway Station, Indiranagar 1st and 2nd Stages, HAL 2nd Stage, Old Madras Road, Kaggadasapura, CV Raman Nagar, Sadanandanagar, BDA Layout, M.G. Road, Cambridge Layout, and Defence Colony.
