Kannada star Shivarajkumar, son of legendary actor Rajkumar, shared an emotional video message on New Year's Day from the US, announcing his victory over cancer and assuring fans of his return. The actor, who underwent treatment for bladder cancer, expressed gratitude for his fans' support and detailed his journey battling the disease.

Shivarajkumar revealed that he underwent chemotherapy while filming his latest movie titled 45, and that he even filmed the climax fight scene during his treatment. His wife, Geetha Shivarajkumar, and daughter, Nivedita, accompanied him throughout his treatment in the US.

"Dr Manohar, who treated me, cared for me like a child," Shivarajkumar shared, expressing confidence in his recovery. The actor underwent surgery in Miami, where his cancerous bladder was replaced with an artificial bladder constructed using his own intestine, according to Dr Murugesh Manoharan.

Geetha Shivarajkumar, who appeared in the video alongside him, also said that her husband is now cancer-free, stating, "All the medical reports have come back negative." She expressed gratitude for the fans' prayers and support, emphasizing that they played a crucial role in Shivarajkumar's recovery.
