Karnataka’s Minister for Information and Technology Priyank Kharge on Monday, August 11 announced the 28th edition of the Bengaluru Tech Summit (BTS), Asia’s largest technology event, to be held from November 18 - 20.
The summit will take place at the Bangalore International Exhibition Centre (BIEC), which features expansive exhibition halls, advanced conference facilities, and direct connectivity via Namma Metro.
Earlier in the day, Chief Minister Siddaramaiah met with nearly 100 industry leaders over breakfast, positioning Bengaluru as India’s foremost technology hub and a frontrunner in emerging fields such as artificial intelligence (AI) and quantum technology.
“We are the best place for entrepreneurs to start and scale globally,” Siddaramaiah said, urging business leaders to invest in Karnataka. He noted that Bengaluru ranks fifth among the world’s top AI hubs and is home to nearly half of India’s AI talent—the second-largest AI pool globally. The state’s upcoming IT policy, he added, will further strengthen infrastructure to accelerate AI growth.
Themed “Futurise”, BTS 2025 will spotlight technologies shaping the decades ahead. The conference will feature 10 tracks, including IT & DeepTech, Electro-Semicon, Digital Health & Biotech, the startup ecosystem, global collaboration, and the India–USA Tech Conclave. New additions include AI Universe, Finverse, Defence & Spacetech, and My Planet My Future.
A key highlight will be the Future Makers Conclave, an immersive programme bringing together changemakers, entrepreneurs, artists, and pioneers, and expected to attract more than 20,000 startup founders and ecosystem participants.
