Bengaluru police have arrested four men in connection with the alleged rape of a 36-year-old woman in Koramangala, Bengaluru. The incident reportedly occurred around midnight on Thursday, February 20. The complaint was filed on Friday morning.

According to the police, the woman stated that the suspects, who worked as waiters and helpers at a hotel in Koramangala, befriended her during an event on Thursday evening and later invited her to dinner, where the alleged assault took place. Three of the accused are from West Bengal, while one is from Uttarakhand.

The woman, a Delhi native who is married and settled in Bengaluru, confided in her husband upon reaching home. The couple then contacted the police helpline to report the incident.

Deputy Commissioner of Police (South East Bengaluru) Sarah Fathima told the media that all necessary procedures, including the woman’s medical examination, have been completed.

A case has been registered at the Koramangala police station, and further investigation is underway.
